The standard proofreading service ensures that your work is free of spelling errors, grammar errors, syntax errors and misplaced words. While the editing addition enables us to match your required style and offer suggestions to reword awkward or overly complex sentences to make your message as clear as possible.

You'll receive your document within 12 hours of ordering this 12 hour proofreading service. We always aim to remove every spelling, grammar, syntax and word processor error.

The editing option enables us to offer reworded suggestions for a clearer message. It also provides: alternative wording to avoid repetition, continuity of word choices for named concepts and formatting (style guides can be submitted).

Availability of the 12 hour proofreading service is from Sunday to Friday. Our weekend starts at 1pm on Saturday, so the last order must be made before 1pm on Friday (BST, London time). The first order can be made at 1pm on Sunday (BST, London time). The 48, 72, and 7 day services are always available.

6,000 word limit (larger word counts are available for services with longer deadlines).

Add Editing if parts of your text need to be changed to improve the clarity and style of your writing. Editing involves a rewrite of some parts of a sentence, replacement words and style fixes (you can submit a style guide). Free for translated texts, but adds 30% for texts written in English.

Originally from the US and currently based in England, I have a strong professional and academic background in writing, translating, and improving text, particularly adapting text written in English by speakers of other languages. I can also adapt language specifications easily to both US and UK English. I became passionate about working with language due to my bilingual French-English upbringing and also my experience of living in Spain and travelling to other countries around the world. I have worked in both academia and the private business sector, and now I am an English tutor at the University of Sheffield's language centre. As a freelance worker I am punctual, communicative and adaptable to most fields and publication requirements.
