I have been teaching English language for around ten years, mainly working with international students in a university context. I am currently studying for a PhD in Applied Linguistics; I hold an MA in Applied Linguistics and a BA in English Language and Literature. I also have a PGCE in TESOL. I have been working in proofreading and editing for around six years now, and have worked with Mr. Proofread for about four years, alongside my teaching and studying. I am experienced in editing a very wide range of texts, from business reports to novels, and have edited many academic papers. My experience of working with English language from a wide range of perspectives - from teaching university students and seeing the common errors which they can make, to studying the workings of the language theoretically - combines to make my editing smooth, accurate and effective. I'm also always happy to communicate with clients and ensure they receive a service suited to their individual needs.
